AJ Styles is the Superstar of the Year

Image
AJ Styles is the Superstar of the Year AJ Styles has had a phenomenal year in WWE, personally, I did not predict that AJ Styles would come in and trailblaze WWE the way he did. Starting from his debut at the Royal Rumble, he came in with so much buzz and excitement from the fans. Then, he teamed with Chris Jericho and people got worried a little bit. There was a concern that Styles would just be a midcarder in a tag team with Jericho. Then, at Wrestlemania 32, he lost to Jericho and fans who watched that were really concerned that WWE would bury Styles. However, a leaf was turned when the next night, he won a fatal four way to be the number one contender for the WWE championship. Now, why would he lose at the biggest show of the year only to then contend for the championship, I have no idea. Whatever the case is, he had something to prove to the WWE fans that he could hang with the top dog, which was Roman Reigns, the champion at the time. At Payback and Extreme Rules, AJ styles ...

Why Goldberg Should Not Have Beaten Brock Lesnar By Radi Lewis Survivor Series 2016 last month was a good show from top to bottom. From the Team Smackdown Vs Raw team, the IC title match with Zayn and Miz, there was great wrestling during this PPV. But, that leads us to Goldberg Vs Brock Lesnar. This match was being built up as two monsters colliding, The Unstoppable force Brock Lesnar vs the WCW Legend Goldberg. Lesnar wanting revenge against Goldberg for that loss he suffered at Wrestlemania 20. Fanfare was at an all-time high coming into this match because people were curious to see how this would play out. We got our answer when Goldberg SQUASHED Lesnar in two minutes. Literally, it was two spears to Lesnar and a jackhammer to finish it off. Now, on one hand, the crowd in that building went crazy for that finish because it was so unexpected to see Lesnar dominated like that. And to their credit, It made Goldberg look like a beast heading into the Royal Rumble. However,...

SmackDown Is a Better Show Than Raw

Image
By Radi Lewis Raw is a terrible, terrible show. It is 3 hours of nonsensical, horrible, and outright bad booking. SmackDown meanwhile is a nice and quick two hour of great wrestling. When Raw is over, it feels like you watched a marathon of the worst show on television. When SmackDown's done, you long for more, not less. Also, SmackDown has another thing over raw, which is the face General Manager; The heel authority figure is so overused in wrestling. On SmackDown Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan are nice guys who want the best for their show. They talk to both heels and faces and by default, give everyone an equal playing field. Much like William Regal in NXT, they are the kind of people who could run a real wrestling promotion, and it's great to see. The announcing is another thing that SmackDown has over raw. Michael Cole controls the broadcast booth and has the boring and stale Byron Saxton on the other side of him. However, On SmackDown we have the excellency of Maur...
